    • Central control & low latency: The player software provides central control and latency-free output of content. This ensures perfect synchronisation on all output devices, whether on large LED walls, smart seats with integrated tablets, personal smartphones or live streaming platforms.

There are no limitations. libretto42 supports unlimited languages. You can create, manage, and display subtitles in any language. Ideal for opera houses and theaters with international audiences.

What hardware do I need?

libretto42 is compatible with various display solutions. We partner with DH electronics for high-quality smart displays engineered in Germany. But the software works with most output systems and on modern mobile devices. We're happy to provide individual recommendations based on your venue's requirements.

Is an internet connection required?

The libretto42 Editor is cloud-based. So an internet connection is necessary for editing subtitles. Ideally the Player is also connected to the internet, but we also offer the Player as an offline app for surtitling on connected monitors.
